mfg 0
I rebuilt the R2 fuel pump from my Avanti a few years ago using a kit from SI..(diaphragm bellows, new in and out valves, lower gasket)..don't remember having any issues, and it's still working well. MARK 0
years ago I did the same from S.I. a few months ago I sent my R1 & R2 to Dave Thibeault for rebuild, perfect perfect perfect Mark
Avanti1963! 0
The rebuild is simple. Removing the pin was the most challenging but still not bad.
brad 0
Most kits are junk. They do not support the valves with a cage like the originals valves had. This is the ONLY kit I use, and they are perfect. https://www.deadnutson.com/carter-high-performance-x-fuel-pump-rebuild-kit/
