This is the linkage that goes from the carb to the transmission. We believe that our customer's vehicle has the wrong linkage installed and want to replace it with a proper one. Please let me know if you know one that might be available for sale or to use as a model to fabricate one. mfg Posted November 13, 2019 Report Share Posted November 13, 2019 Yes, this adjustable rod is a rather important item!....Not only does it control forced downshifts, it also controls the timing and the severity of automatic upshifts.
