Just a thought. Would you think the manufacturer of the Cruise control might have something to do with the DCS?

On brake lines, etc, if you ever have to go from SAE to Metric, NAPA has a small section of Cuniform tubing with two different male ends, to adapt the two. The old number was 813-5512.

This unit was sourced to a late 80's Chrysler Sedan. The K-car has a similar unit but looks cheaper. The larger car has more chrome. The internals are a combination of cable and vacuum controls.

Be very attentive to the radiator - firewall span. Iinsufficient support at the radiator will cause those cracks across the fender top near the firewall

I've spent some time on this yesterday, to no avail. I was thinking Cadillac and they have some pieces that are called something close,
but no cigar.
